The air intake assembly is installed on the vapour recovery pipe of a rail tank car. Thanks to its integrated check valve, the assembly inflates air at atmospheric pressure during loading/unloading operations if the cap at the end of the vapour recovery pipe has not been removed. Its gauze offers an extra level of security.
